Including the blessing by the Archbishop of Wales of a carpet commissioned by the Friends of St Michael’s College from Afghan Action, who run a Training and Business Incubation Centre for young men and women, some disabled, in Kabul, making handmade carpets to traditional and modern designs and also providing literacy and numeracy classes, a free midday meal and healthcare for all staff and trainees. Their goal is to help young people help themselves through training and jobs… You can really help too - by purchasing a carpet (prices start at £200) or simply by making a donation.
